Resident Party at Peel House
Peel House Resident Association organised an end of summer event and caught the last of the summer sun on Sunday 20 September.
Over 50 residents from the mixed tenure scheme in Pimlico attended and brought delicious home cooked food to share with their neighbours. The event was attended by Elizabeth Rowland, Neighbourhood Manager, Lynda Gill, Surveyor, Meleta Brown, Neighbourhood Officer and Anna de Souza, Resident Involvement Manager who enjoyed meeting Peel House residents and got involved with the games.
Ed Lewis, Chair of the Peel House Resident Association said
On Sunday the Peel House Residents Association and Octavia had a party in the courtyard. We were very lucky with the weather and the turnout was excellent with over 50 residents. The association feels that these events are crucial as they encourage residents to meet their neighbours and inspire a sense of community. Special thanks to Joanna the face painter and Michael the caretaker who did a fantastic job entertaining the children. We are looking forward our next party with even more residents getting involved.
