Peel House Summer Party
Peel House Resident Association held a summer party in the communal grounds of Peel House, Pimlico on Sunday 17 July which attracted over 50 residents from the mixed tenure scheme.
Residents brought an array of traditional home cooking and sweet treats to enjoy and share with their neighbours. Residents also made ice cream cones for the kids who enjoyed having their faces painted by face painter Joanna Berridge.
Michael Oamhen, Caretaker for Peel House, did a fantastic job entertaining over 40 children with traditional party games, music and entertainment. Vanessa Hall, Vice Chair arranged fun presents and party bags for all the Peel House children who attended. Neighbours welcomed new residents to the block and the event was a great example of an active Resident Association having a positive impact by bringing people together.
Ed Lewis, Chair of the Peel House Resident Association said:
I would like to thank everyone who attended the Peel House summer party last weekend. The home-made food and contributions were fantastic. Events like this are a brilliant way to meet your neighbours and encourage a real community spirit at Peel House. I would like to say a big personal thank you to Joanna Berridge the face painter, Michael our caretaker and Vice Chair, Vanessa for all their help."
