Peel House residents see out 2014 with a bang
On Sunday 7 December, the Peel House Resident Association organised a fantastic end of year party for the residents of Peel House. Peel House is one of our large mixed tenure blocks located in Pimlico. The Resident Association Committee organised and hosted the party at one of the flats in Peel House and invited residents to come along, meet their neighbours and socialise with one another.
Anna de Souza, Resident Involvement Manager was invited and over the course of the afternoon over 40 residents attended to enjoy a brilliant afternoon of food, drinks, face painting, music and fun games. Anna was able to speak to a range of residents. They told her that they would like more social events and more opportunities to meet their neighbours in a relaxed setting.
The children in particular enjoyed the face painting provided by Joanna Berridge and party games such as musical chairs and musical statues led by Michael the Caretaker. Residents also brought a wide variety of home cooked food to share with their neighbours. Thanks to the Resident Association for organising the afternoon party and for showing how getting residents together can help build a good community spirit within a block!
